Boston, MA
At just 27 years old, Jared Nichols has already made a name for himself as a versatile and dynamic guitarist in Wolf Jackson. Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, Jared brings a fresh, modern edge to the band’s Southern rock, blues, and Americana sound, blending technical precision with raw, emotional playing.
Growing up in Boston’s rich music scene, Jared was influenced by a wide range of guitarists, from John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr. to David Gilmour and Keith Richards. His playing style is a mix of smooth, melodic leads and gritty, blues-soaked riffs, making him an essential part of Wolf Jackson’s evolving sound.
Jared joined the band ahead of their second album, "No Name Needed," adding a younger, fiery energy to the mix. His ability to weave between soulful rhythm work and explosive solos helped define standout tracks on both "No Name Needed" and their latest release, "3 Chord Dance."
With Bill Prosper’s seasoned experience and Jared’s fresh perspective, Wolf Jackson’s dual-guitar attack creates a rich, layered sound that bridges generations of rock and blues. Whether delivering soaring solos or tasteful, understated licks, Jared Nichols proves that age is just a number when it comes to soulful, impactful guitar playing.
