Nashville, TN

At 34 years old, Theo Palmer is the steady, driving force behind Wolf Jackson’s rhythm section, laying down soulful, groove-heavy basslines that anchor the band’s Southern rock, blues, and Americana sound. Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Theo’s playing is as deep and resonant as his voice, which has also made him Wolf Jackson’s unofficial narrator, adding spoken-word intros, interludes, and the occasional storytelling monologue to the band’s recordings and live performances.

Influenced by bass legends like James Jamerson, John Paul Jones, and Pino Palladino, Theo’s style is a blend of classic rock groove, bluesy swagger, and subtle country warmth. His playing doesn’t just support the music—it moves it forward, creating the foundation for the band’s unmistakable sound.

Theo joined Wolf Jackson ahead of their debut album, "Vagabonds & Beggars," immediately making his presence felt with his fluid yet commanding basslines. By the time the band recorded their sophomore effort, "No Name Needed," Theo’s deep, rich baritone became an integral part of Wolf Jackson’s identity—delivering narrative intros, poetic interludes, and spoken-word transitions that added an extra layer of storytelling to the album.

Now, on "3 Chord Dance," Theo continues to shape Wolf Jackson’s sound, both as a bassist and a voice that gives the band its cinematic, roots-driven edge. Whether he’s locking in with the drums, adding melodic bass runs, or setting the stage with his signature spoken-word intros, Theo Palmer is more than just the backbone of Wolf Jackson—he’s its voice of wisdom and soul.
